NYSAC Fall Seminar Features Meeting of the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Farming

On Thursday September 22, Blue Ribbon Task Force members met at NYSAC’s fall Seminar in Essex County. The Task Force reviewed a draft of the 2011 report and made changes to be included in the final version. The group also discussed plans for a trip to New York City to visit the Hunts Point market, the world’s largest food distribution center. The final version of the 2011 Task Force report will be made available this fall. Arrangements for the trip to Hunts Point Market are being developed. Details on this trip will be emailed to Task Force members.
