The New York State Association of Counties plans three conferences each year, including the Legislative Conference, Finance School and our Fall Seminar. Our conferences provide programs and training sessions on current issues and trends facing elected and appointed county officials across the state.

The NYSAC 2012 Legislative Conference is the counties' best forum for dynamic Q & A opportunities among county officials dealing with an ever changing landscape in county government.  This year the NYSAC Legislative Conference will feature a broad array of worshops highlighting timely issues including the State Budget, Tax Cap, Mandates, EI/Pre K, Energy, Media Relations, Leadership Best Practices, Ethics, Land Banking, Agriculture and Indigent Defense to name just a few.  NYSAC will also be offering a full program of Pelletier County Government Institute programs including the ever popular and vital "Orientation for Newly Elected and Appointed County Officials" in addition to a full schedule of accredited workshops.  Don't miss this important training event to help guide and support county officials and thier educational needs.
