2008 Legislative Conference A Huge Success

More than 850 county officials from almost every county convened in Albany this week for a series of standing room only workshops , meetings with state representatives and speeches by New York State leaders.

"There was a tremendous fusion of ideas and energy at this conference and I know that our members are heading home to their counties with new information about the state budget, about economic development, about county programs and services and about how to better serve the residents of their communities," said NYSAC President Lucille M. McKnight.

NYSAC Conferences

The New York State Association of Counties plans three conferences each year, including the Legislative Conference, Finance School and our Fall Seminar. Our conferences provide programs and training sessions on current issues and trends facing elected and appointed county officials across the state.
