Nursing Home Executive Director
Principal Job Duties: Successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of operations of two county nursing homes with a combined 475 beds. The ideal candidate will be proactive in developing and implementing effective strategies and procedures to optimize residents’ health and well being, maintain a positive work environment, and recruit and employ adequate staffing levels. We seek a strong, innovative leader with excellent analytical skills and familiarity with all aspects of managing a nursing home. Thorough knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes is required. Applicant must be a resident of Albany County or agree to become one within one year of employment.
Minimum qualifications: State administrator’s license and five years progressive experience as nursing home administrator required.
