Assistant Director of Information Technology
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Broome County NY is seeking an experienced technical manager to assist our Director of Information Technology in planning, directing and administering the programs of a large centralized department providing computer services to governmental departments and agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
A) Master Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a field closely related to Computer Science, and four (4) years full time work experience in computer operations, systems analysis, programming, or technical support, two (2) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or
B) Bachelors Degree in the above disciplines with five years experience, two (2) of which shall have been in a years supervisory capacity; or,
C) Nine (9) years experience in computer science or closely related field, five (5) of which must have been in computer operations, systems analysis, programming or technical support with two (2) years supervisory responsibilities.
D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of A), B), and C) above.
Annual Salary: $74,892. Excellent retirement / benefits. EOE
