Deputy Commissioner of Operations
Position will assist the Commissioner of Public Works in the management and administration of operations programs, projects and daily activities. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and four years of experience in road, bridge and/or building construction and maintenance two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity or eight years of experience as noted above, four (4) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of experience and training indicated above. Note: A Professional Engineer’s license in New York State is preferred but not required. Position subject to Civil Service Laws and Rules.
