RETIREMENT VACANCY
SALARY: $79,225 Plus Excellent Benefits
Saratoga County is seeking an experienced professional to lead its 66 person Public Health Department. The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership, communication and administrative skills.
Duties include overall leadership of all Public Health activities within Saratoga County. Including but not limited to Certified Home Health, Long Term Home Health Care Programs and Early Intervention Programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EITHER
(A) Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or a closely related field from a regionally accredited or New York State college or university and three (3) years of public health administration experience; or
(B) An appropriate combination of education and experience deemed equivalent by the State Commissioner of Health.
NOTE: Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
NOTE: All appointments to the position of Public Health Director are subject to the approval of the State Commissioner of Health.
