POSITION DESCRIPTION

PFM is currently recruiting Consultants for the Strategic Consulting practice, both entry level and experienced professionals, to provide analytical support for clients and project managers. Consultants work in direct contact with Managing Directors and other experienced project managers to develop and deliver ideas for improving the bottom line of state and local governments nationwide.

Consultant duties may include:

* Capital and operating budget analysis and support
* Labor-management analysis
* Revenue analysis and policy recommendation
* Multi-year financial and management planning
* Compiling and presenting reports and recommendations to clients

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree desirable
* Proven analytical ability
* Strong quantitative skills

* Public sector interest and/or experience
* Good public presentation skills
* Willingness to travel
* Strong work ethic
* Outstanding communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Self starter
* Ability to work with limited supervision
