Deputy Workforce Development Services Director/Youth Bureau Director
Assists the Livingston County Workforce Development Services/Youth Bureau Director in the overall administration of the Center for Workforce Development, as well as Workforce Investment, Youth Bureau, and Community Services Block Grant programs.
Duties will include participation in the allocation of funds, auditing, monitoring and service provision of state and federally funded programs. This position will also assist in managing of the Center for Workforce Development that offers various services to jobseekers.
A successful track record in a Management position dealing with these or similar programs is highly desired.
It is intended that the successful candidate for this position will transition to the position of Director upon the planned retirement of the current WDS/YB Director in May 2012.
Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
Must be a County resident or establish residency within 6 months of appointment.
