Probation Director
Ontario County, located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, is seeking a Probation Director II to direct and lead our services in Probation and correctional alternatives. This is a progressive County looking for the right person to become part of our participative management team.
This position is responsible for the oversight of 38 employees and will maintain effective services in accordance with established laws and regulations. Meeting all objectives requires working in conjunction with the NYS Division of Probation, judicial and legal staff as well as a variety of County departments.
Qualified Civil Service transfers will be considered. Experience in supervision of senior staff and organization of department activities is required. Starting Salary: $73,798, depending on experience.
