St. Lawrence County is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Emergency Services Department.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communications, and administrative skills:
This Position involves responsibilities of coordinating and administering emergency management, fire emergency management, and emergency medical services management, and the 911 System. Work is performed under general direction from the County Administrator in accordance with State and Federal regulations and guidelines. Supervision is exercised over the work of paid and volunteer personnel engaged in the aforementioned programs.
Salary Range $53,886 - $70,549.
SUGGESTED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(c) HS or GED and 9 yrs of full-time paid exp. in emergency preparedness, fire fighting or EMS, 3 yrs as a supervisor.
NOTE: Volunteer part-time experience will be equated to its full-time equivalency based on yrs., and quantifiable participation.
