Director of Social Services

This position plans, coordinates, and supervises the work of the Adult and Family Services staff of the Oswego County Department of Social Services. This is an administrative position involving responsibility for the successful operation and delivery of services to the public by the social services and support staff under the direction of the Commissioner of Social Services.

 

   Competitive salary plus excellent benefit package

   Master’s degree preferred in social work, public administration, business administration, health, or related field and four years of professional experience in social case work or social services program planning and implementation, two years of which must have involved the supervision of staff; OR bachelor’s degree in a related field with equivalent experience as noted above.
