NYSAC's partners were selected through a careful process to choose superior services that best meet the needs of our counties. These providers are familiar with the specific needs of counties, and their programs are designed to help counties save money while providing exceptional services.
NYSAC offers members cost-saving programs and services in the following areas (details can be found below):

Constituent Services
County Dental Card Program
The Dental Card Program was designed to give counties the opportunity to provide greater health care access to residents who are currently without dental coverage and to provide an additional opportunity for outreach and communication between county leaders and officials, and the residents they serve. NYSAC Defensive Driving Program - Member price: just $23.95!
The NYSAC Defensive Driving Program provides county employees and residents with a six-hour driver improvement course, which qualifies individuals (and the county, in the case of employees) reductions in car insurance premiums. ProAct Prescription Drug Discount Card
The ProAct partnership offers a discount prescription program to lower the cost of drugs for residents who don’t have health care insurance or have inadequate prescription coverage. ProAct’s partnership with NYSAC also offers county employees lower cost prescriptions through their employee benefit card. Government Debt Recovery Program (NCSPlus)
NYSAC has partnered with NCSPlus to offer a debt recovery solution to local governments.If your agencies or departments are using a contingency fee based debt recovery program, you are probably paying too much and collecting too little. Deferred Compensation Retirement Program
NYSAC, in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and Nationwide Retirement Solutions provides county employees with the opportunity to invest a portion of their wages in a retirement account.
Insurance Products
New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal
The New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal (NYMIR) is a non-profit municipal insurance program governed by local government officials for New York’s local governments- counties, towns, villages and cities.
Workers Compensation Program (PERMA)
NYSAC has partnered with the Public Employee Risk Management Association to develop a workers' compensation program tailored specifically for counties and county workers' compensation pools.
