NYSAC Board Resolutions
Resolution calling on the governor and legislature of the state to implement a full takeover of all local costs of the Medicaid program in order to reduce New York’s highest in the nation local tax burden
Resolution expressing sincere sympathy for those counties and communities affected by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee and calling on the state of New York to cover the full local share required for FEMA

Resolution urging the governor and state legislature to immediately cap the county fiscal responsibility for the 4410 preschool special education program, and gradually remove counties from the contractual and programmatic responsibilities of the program in order to achieve net cost savings
Resolution urging the governor, state legislature and Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMNG) to hold counties harmless for any claims determined to not be in compliance with OMIG Medicaid Compliance requirements as a result of automatic submission by the New York Early Intervention System (NYEIS)

The New York State Association of Counties urges Governor Cuomo to introduce legislation increasing penalties for possession of unstamped or unlawfully stamped cigarettes
