With two days left in the legislative session, counties are asking lawmakers to pass two mandate relief bills.
- DA Salary Increase Reimbursement (S.7408A, Young/ A.10152A, Gunther). This measure will reimburse counties for the state-mandated increase in DA salaries enacted in April. The bill passed the Senate and awaits consideration in the Assembly Ways and Means Committee.
