Chief Transportation Officer- Tompkins County NY
It is an exciting time for transportation planning in Tompkins County with the expansion of the program to three full-time staff and the move of operations to the Department of Planning and Sustainability. The Chief Transportation Officer will lead that expansion and craft a team that will be responsible for compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations by the County and its subrecipients, including Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit and Gadabout Transportation Services, as well as for the identification and development of programs to serve unmet demand for affordable mobility services.

Tompkins County Seeks Chief Transportation Officer
The Department of Planning and Sustainability is recruiting to fill the position of Chief Transportation Officer to lead planning for community mobility programs and manage the County’s administration of public transportation grant programs. Flexible work options including hybrid telework arrangements may be available.
Salary range is $77,792 - $84,469.
