Candidates must have been admitted to, and be a member of good standing with the New York State Bar, and are required to be residents of Schuyler or a contiguous (Chemung, Seneca, Steuben, Tompkins and Yates) county upon taking office and remain so during the entire term of appointment.
Experience with Social Services Law, Elder Law, Family Law and/or with a Prosecutorial Agency (District Attorney, Social Services Attorney, Presentment Agency, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Annual salary is commensurate with experience with average range of $76,939 - $96,174, plus excellent benefit package.
