Legislative Conference

NYSAC’s Legislative Conference is held annually between January and mid-March in Albany, New York. 

The conference focuses on counties’ legislative priorities for the year as well as the most pressing issues impacting county governments in New York State. 

During the Legislative Conference, NYSAC’s 13 Standing Committees meet and vote on a slate of resolutions that guide the associations advocacy for the remainder of the year. The conference also hosts several meetings of NYSAC affiliate organizations and frequently features appearances from state elected officials including the Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller and State Legislators.

The 2023 Legislative Conference was held February 27th through March 3rd in Albany County.
