As a result of declining state reimbursements, babies and toddlers with special needs are facing increasing wait times for vital Early Intervention services. This factsheet outlines NYSAC's recommendations to strengthen Early Intervention. 

The New York State Early Intervention Program (EIP) is part of the national Early Intervention Program for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. It is administered by the New York State Department of Health through the Bureau of Early Intervention.
