Budget Director, Sullivan County

The Sullivan County Office of Management and Budget is seeking to fill the following position:
BUDGET DIRECTOR

The incumbent has the responsibility for the preparation of the annual budget for the County of Sullivan and to conduct budget hearings, monitor revenues and expenditures and advise the County Manager and Department Heads on budgetary matters. General direction is exercised over this position by the County Manager. Supervision is exercised over a small staff of professional budget analysts and support personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and experience deemed acceptable by the County Manager.

SUGGESTED STANDARDS: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Fiscal Management or similarly related field and four (4) years of demonstrated experience in finance, fiscal management, budgeting or related experience at a supervisory or administrative level.

SALARY: $93,710.00 - $108,464.00, commensurate with experience
