With health insurance premiums continuing to rise, counties, local governments and school districts are looking for better ways to manage costs and maintain or improve the quality and integrity of the coverage offered to their retirees.

The County Prescription Discount Card Program has been offered by 49 counties, and over the years has saved New York residents over $277 million dollars on over 7.3 million prescriptions.
