On Tuesday, February 6th, NYSAC appeared before the State Legislative Joint Budget Committee on Local Government. As the level of government tasked with implementing much of state policy, counties have many issues to consider in every state budget. In our testimony we provided feedback to the legislature on how the proposals contained in the Governor’s budget proposal would impact counties.
