This week the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released county real GDP data for the entire country for 2020.
The report highlights how the state compares to the rest of the nation on a variety of metrics and looks at county population and demographics changes over time including 2020 census data.
Now that the worst of the health crisis hopefully behind us, New York faces an economic crisis the likes of which have not been seen in generations.
Participating in the 2020 Census and leveraging the public-facing nature of county government to reach communities that are historically undercounted is imperative to the sustainability of communities and health and human service programs.
