Each year NYSAC provides verbal and written testimony to the legislature’s Joint Committee on the Budget. The testimony is usually presented by the NYSAC President and Executive Director and allows counties to present their case to the Legislature on the Governor’s proposed budget.

On February 1st, Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled her SFY 2024 Executive Budget proposal, officially marking the beginning of budget season in Albany.
