NYSAC Job Board Helps Counties Fill Essential Roles

It's a common refrain heard across all sectors of the economy since the arrival of the pandemic: “We can't find workers.”

After the unprecedented social and economic upheaval caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, employers of all stripes have been struggling to find workers to fill needed roles. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, unemployment nationwide remained at historically low 3.6 percent nationwide in June. While the New York unemployment rate of 4.5 percent is slightly higher than the national average, it remains an exceptionally tight labor market statewide and presents serious challenges for counties trying to attract and retain top talent.

Fortunately, the NYSAC County Job Board can help counties fill needed positions by featuring postings in one centrally located board on the Associations' website!

And best of all, its entirely free for NYSAC members!
