NYSAC’s Legislative Conference is held annually in March in Albany, New York. The conference focuses on counties’ legislative priorities for the year as well as the most pressing issues impacting county governments in New York State. NYSAC’s 13 Standing Committees meet and vote on a slate of resolutions that guide the associations advocacy for the remainder of the year. The conference also hosts several meetings of NYSAC affiliate organizations and frequently features appearances from state elected officials including the Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller and State Legislators.
