The Village of Larchmont is seeking a forward-thinking financial leader to serve as its next Village Treasurer, a pivotal role within a high-performing, fiscally strong municipal organization. Appointed by the Village Board and working closely under the supervision of the Village Administrator, the Treasurer oversees accounting, financial reporting, revenue, debt, and long-range fiscal planning across a complex, multi-fund environment. 

This role requires a balance of financial expertise, strategic judgment, and service-oriented leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in governmental accounting and budgeting, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate financial data into strategy that advances policy goals and community priorities. A commitment to guiding and mentoring staff, strengthening internal controls, and communicating complex information with clarity and professionalism is essential to success. A CPA is welcomed but not required.

The salary range is $135,000–$155,000, commensurate with experience. The Village offers a comprehensive benefits package including NYSHIP / Empire Plan.
